Over 2,000 Walkers, Moving Toward a Cure

The Southern California & Nevada Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society will hold its annual Walk MS event at Fig Garden Village on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Walk MS is a rallying point of the MS movement; a community coming together to raise funds and celebrate hope for the future.

Over 2000 walkers are expected to come out to Fig Garden Village to help raise this year’s goal of $2.5 million.  Money raised at Walk MS will support direct services for the 20,000 people with MS and their families in our communities. Funds raised also support MS research worldwide to stop MS in its tracks, restore function that’s been lost and end MS forever. Together, we will find a cure for this chronic, unpredictable disease of the central nervous system.

Give Blood At Clovis Rodeo Blood Drive

Give Blood At Clovis Rodeo Blood Drive

The Clovis Rodeo Association, KISS Country Radio and the Central California Blood Center invite you to  the 15th Annual Rodeo Blood Drive and Clovis Rodeo Wednesday, April 22.  Due to the success of this 15th annual event, the blood drive has been scheduled one day earlier than in years past to accommodate greater parking needs and lessen traffic at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds. Whether you arrive dressed in your cowboy/cowgirl “duds” or your Rodeo commemorative T-shirt from a previous year; the Blood Center and the Clovis Rodeo Association invite you to take just an hour from your day to “help patients in Valley hospitals get back in the saddle again.” (Since the very first Rodeo Blood Drive in 2001, more than 13,000 folks have attended and registered to donate.)
